Our libraries offer many resources for students, parents, and educators. Our libraries are designed to support academic success and lifelong learning, from books to databases to digital resources. Our highly trained staff is dedicated to providing all learners with a safe and inclusive environment. ​Seattle Public Schools offer a wide range of resources to support student learning and engagement through its Library Services Department. These resources include but are not limited to:

This service provides users with access to over 500,000 books, eBooks, audio books, and other materials, all available for checkout.

Databases, E-Books, & Audio Books

The Library Services Department provides access to a variety of databases that can help students with research and projects. These databases offer reliable and credible information from sources such as newspapers, magazines, and academic journals.

Seattle Public Schools' Library Services Department also provides access to e-books and audiobooks through platforms such as Sora and MackinVIA. These resources can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, making it easier for students to continue reading and learning outside of the classroom.

Online Resources  & Library Resources for Educators

In addition to Library Link, the Library Services Department provides access to a variety of online resources that can support student learning. These resources include but are not limited to online encyclopedias, dictionaries, and other reference materials.

Finally, Seattle Public Schools' Library Services Department partners with the Seattle Public Library to offer students access to even more resources. Students with a Seattle Public Library card can access the library's online resources and check out books from their local library branch.
